Thanks and hope to see you again next year!
After an hour of driving around Barcelona hell-traffic on fumes
(alcohol for us, petrol for the car), with the heater cranked to keep
us out of the red and the satnav screwing us harder than ever, we
managed to meet the scrapper at Ikea and followed him to the shop
where we said our very sad goodbyes to El Chick Magnet. We exchanged
Barbies and whiskey and they took us to the airport where we made our
flight with about 10 minutes to spare, going from sweating to sweaters
in less than 2 hours.
The people at the scrap yard were fantastic (G on the list). Highly
recommended for next year.
Many thanks to the organizers and other teams! We had a great time.
What an adventure. Can't wait until next year.

Congratulations to the Cod Squad for winning on their 4th attempt. Winners of the Wackiest car goes to Team Super Stud in their pirate ship. Longest drive went to Are We There Yet after leaving their passports in Sauze Doulx and remembering when they were 3 hours down the road...
